According to the NJ Civil Service Commission’s February 2021 Law Enforcement Status Report the following tests will be announced this year:
POLICE SERGEANT: The next announcement will be issued on October 1, 2021. The examination is tentatively scheduled for February 2022.
POLICE LIEUTENANT: The next announcement will be issued on July 1, 2021. The examination is tentatively scheduled for October 2021.
POLICE CAPTAIN: The next announcement will be issued on July 1, 2021. The examination is tentatively scheduled for October 2021.
