07/07/2025: At this time, we are holding off on posting additional classes, as all core study materials and the first three simulated exams have already been made available. For your awareness, the most recent management/supervision book listed in this year’s Orientation Guide for the Lieutenant and Captain exams appears heavily tailored to first-line supervisors—specifically, the Sergeant rank. We are temporarily pausing the release of further simulated exams in case the New Jersey Civil Service Commission decides to include this text in your exam content as well. Once your test is officially announced (tentatively scheduled for October 1st), we will publish the remaining sessions, which will include at least five additional simulated exams. If specified in the orientation guide, we will also post sessions on video-based questions and management/supervision topics. With 27 comprehensive classes already available online, your program is well ahead of schedule—equivalent to more than 13 weeks of structured instruction when compared to most in-person offerings. If you have any questions/concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us as the below numbers.
Best wishes and stay safe!

06/17/2025: There are now 27 classes online. The latest three cover statutory law (Criminal Law Book) and its interpretation (Law Enforcement Handbook, Volume 2.)
06/08/2025: There are now 24 classes online. We are working on updated classes for the second half of the Law Enforcement Handbook, Volume 2, and the Criminal Law and Motor Vehicle Handbook. Once those are posted, we will post several more Simulated Exams and a final updates class. We will advise, via text message, when we add classes/documents.
03/12/2025: There are now 24 classes online. As you can see, we are way ahead of schedule and way ahead of all other groups. We will be taking a short break from posting until we receive, update, and re-record the classes for the 2025 Criminal Law Book (when released in May) as well as the second half of the 2025 Law Enforcement Handbook, Volume 2, which covers statutory law interpretation. This gives you an opportunity to review and study on your own.
01/23/2025: The 2025 Promotional Test Prep Course will be launching late February (or sooner)! We will be adding two classes (lessons) per week but sometimes we will take a short break to allow you to catch up. We will be using the 2025 Law Enforcement Handbook (available now) and the 2025 Criminal Law & Motor Vehicle Handbook as well as whatever management book is listed once Orientation Guide is released.
Thank you for choosing Top Cop Inc for your test prep needs.
We wish each and every one of you the best in your careers.
